Perfection in a Bite: Introducing our New Spring Summer Canapés Menu

At Rocket, we believe canapés are an integral part of any event, adding elegance and a sense of occasion while setting the tone for the evening ahead. Whether satisfying appetites during an evening of alfresco cocktails or building anticipation for a sit down meal, we believe canapés are the ultimate way to surprise, delight, and please your guests. As we head into the busy summer season, we asked the team to highlight some of their favourite seasonal canapés, whether stalwarts from the Rocket collection or new additions to the menu.

Walnut and Whipped Goat's Curd Sablé

“I love the Walnut & Whipped Goat’s Curd Sablé, which is a playful and delicious canapé inspired by the childhood favourite, the beloved Jammy Dodger. It’s a touch sweet from the elderflower and gooseberry, but undeniably savoury, and the perfect canapé for a playful and creative event.”

Sea Bream Taco

“Our Sea Bream Taco is a refreshing palate cleanser perfect for warmer evenings. The delicately cured fish is paired with burnt Asian pear, fresh lime, and a crispy corn taco. We love to serve this canapé nestled into lemon or lime halves, making for a stunning presentation that always pleases guests. Plus it’s perfect with a glass of champagne. What could be better on a summer evening?”

Broad Bean & Pea Tart

“The Broad Bean and Pea Tart is summer in a canapé. The vibrant green colours can be seen from a mile off, and guests always delight in the variety of textures, from the springy peas and beans to the buttery lemon pastry. Served with a touch of mint, it makes a wonderful complement to our English Garden cocktail and looks stunning on seasonal floral trays.”

Smoked Haddock Fish Pie

“So many of our canapés are beautiful and intricate, and often it’s nice to balance out the offering with a straightforward canapé with minimal fuss. The Smoked Haddock Fish Pie is exactly that. It’s full of familiar and nostalgic flavours that have been elevated to canapé format. It’s warming, substantial, and a classic that hasn’t been messed with, only improved upon.”

Duck & Peas

“My new favourite canapé has to be the Duck & Peas. Bright green waffles made with fresh herbs and peas are topped with earthy duck liver parfait, ginger and orange, and finished with a luxurious flash of gold leaf. It’s a visually striking canapé with both new and classic flavours at once.”

Moroccan Lamb Croquette

“I absolutely love the Moroccan Lamb Croquette. Lamb shoulder is marinated for twelve hours, then slow cooked for a further eight hours until it’s pull-apart tender with maximum flavour. Topped with vibrant mutabal made from smoked aubergines, spices, and herbs, it’s rich and satisfying without being too heavy. It’s the perfect bite for summer.”
