What you’ll do:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate hospitality professional to join our dynamic motorsport trackside team. As a Hospitality Host, you will be responsible for delivering a world-class guest experience to race team members, VIP guests, and partners at international Grand Prix events.
You will create a warm and welcoming environment, working confidently across table, drinks, and lounge service with consistency and professionalism. In this client-facing role, you will represent both the team and the company brand to the highest standard, often working in fast-paced, high-profile settings.
Outside of race events, you will play a key role at our Battersea HQ, supporting logistical preparation, hospitality planning, and general team coordination. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performing team in one of the most exhilarating global sporting environments.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional hospitality service to guests and team members at international Grand Prix events, ensuring every detail of their experience is executed to the highest standard
Provide confident and professional table, wine, and drinks service across various hospitality areas
Create a warm, attentive, and personable atmosphere for guests from arrival through to departure
Work collaboratively with the catering and logistics team on-site to ensure smooth delivery and transition between hospitality sessions
Maintain hospitality spaces, ensuring cleanliness, presentation, and readiness before, during, and after service
Support team set-up and pack-down at each race location, contributing to operational efficiency
Act as a brand ambassador for the race team and company, always presenting with confidence, discretion, and professionalism
Support stock and equipment inventories as needed between races, assisting with preparation at Rocket HQ
Assist the wider team with light administrative or logistical duties during downtime at HQ (e.g., order prep, documentation, minor travel logistics)
Your Skills and Experience:
Essential
A true passion for hospitality, food, drink, and exceptional guest service
Proven experience in table and wine service within a premium or luxury setting
Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask under pressure
Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of personal presentation
A warm, confident, and professional communication style
Positive and proactive attitude, able to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
Flexibility to travel frequently and work irregular hours, including weekends and long days

Main Objective
To be a pro-active and responsible member of the Rocket trackside motorsports hospitality team, creating and delivering excellent levels of culinary skill and service. As a team player, working efficiently to ensure quality, presentation and tight timelines are being achieved consistently. To be flexible, responding quickly and positively to changing requirements. To be motivated and committed, approaching all tasks with enthusiasm and seizing opportunities to learn new skills and develop knowledge in order to improve your personal performance. Passionate about food, service and presenting nutritious and balanced meals is essential. Working in a calm and professional manner and always respecting your colleagues and guests is essential.
Role Specific Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef and Senior Chefs in delivering team, guest, management, driver food and special requests.
Working together with the BOH, FOH brigade and logistics team in setting up the kitchen and back of house working space ensuring all equipment is working correctly and safely, ie power, ventilations, water, etc.
To proactively produce and deliver excellent team food for buffets, garage, and guest meals.
To work proactively in prepping trackside to ensure deadlines are met in the most efficient way.
To play an active role in creating the very best food offerings.
Actively contribute menu writing for each race and event.
Ensuring dietary and special requirements are adhered to and produce is always available.
Any shopping requests or stock runs as required by the Head Chef.
To ensure that kitchen and back of house areas are kept organised, clean and a safe working environment; considering hygiene, workflow and client perceptions.
Assisting the Head Chef, Senior Chefs with ordering of produce and goods where required.
Assist with preparation of food in between races for upcoming GP’s if needed.
Adhering to Hygiene, Food and Health and Safety legislations (Food Alert).
Driving to and from the track were requested by the Head Chef or Senior Chef.
Assist in safe and efficient pack down of the hospitality suite, kitchen and motorhome at all races.
Focus on and championing recycling and reducing single use plastics in line with AMC and FIA targets.
Managing spend and stock levels in line with race budget as dictated by the Head Chef.
Assist in the packing of the overseas rigs and the European fridge truck at various locations, ensuring accuracy and flagging anomalies on inventories and pack lists to the Operations and Logistic Manager in good time.
Support the Head Chef and Logistics manager in out of season logistics and planning for next season.
Retain information to update the Race Bible after each race.
Team responsibilities:
To be presentable and groomed at all times when at the track and travelling as part of the F1 team, including social occasions where the client/guests are present. To reflect the client and Rocket brands.
Championing Rocket Food at all times, promoting the Rocket ethos and maintaining company confidentiality at all times.
Motivating and supporting team members through a positive, hands on and can-do attitude, encouraging others in working towards the same goal.
Training and mentoring new team members to ensure service levels are met and team members are supported.
Maintaining a professional and diligent attitude throughout long days in un-conventional and everchanging working environments.

The waiting staff role is mixed and most often comprises of waiting and beverage service either at Rocket HQ for tastings or at client events predominantly in London, but occasionally across the UK and abroad.

Our people will always be our most important asset and we’re proud to offer pay rates in line with the London Living Wage of from £13.85 per hour to £16.32 per hour which does not include your holiday pay (this is accrued as you work at a rate of 12.07%), depending on experience and role.
