The Royal Hospital Chelsea, a Grade 1 Heritage site and home to the world famous Chelsea Pensioners, is a very special venue in the heart of the Royal Borough.
In the colder months the State Apartments offer the perfect surroundings for a more intimate private dinner party or an evening reception.
In the summer, the Figure Court, lying in the heart of impressive buildings designed by Sir Christopher Wren, lends itself perfectly to an outside reception with a vista all the way down to the embankment, this is a rare and stunning outside space. For larger dinners, the newly refurbished Great Hall with its archetypal wood panelling and magnificent mural of Charles II is a beautifully classic, more traditional choice for your event. The Wren House, the former residence of the Commanding Officer, is latest addition to the event spaces at the Royal Hospital. The elegant drawing rooms look out over the South Grounds and in the Summer months can be used alongside the terrace. The Wren House is perfect for smaller dinners or drinks receptions or even the most intimate of wedding parties.
