Banqueting House has been the backdrop for spectacular feasts and celebrations for almost 400 years. Built for entertaining, it’s perfectly suited to events of all sizes, from intimate dinners to the most lavish receptions.

The crowning glory of Banqueting House is its magnificent ceiling - nine paintings by Peter Paul Rubens, one of Europe’s most influential artists. The Main Hall, with its soaring neo-classical columns and breathtaking painted ceiling, is among London’s most majestic event spaces, ideal for grand dinners and receptions.

Below, the Undercroft offers a striking contrast. With its cosy archways and intimate corners, it was originally designed as a private retreat for James I and his courtiers. Today, it serves as an atmospheric setting for a wide range of occasions.
