A Stellar Space-Themed Evening at the Science Museum

Rocket was over the moon to execute a space-themed dinner for 300 at the Science Museum. Hosted by nonprofit organisation Space for a Better World, the event was an intergalactic feast for the eyes. To kick off the evening, champagne and a wide array of Rocket canapés were passed around on custom-made glowing cosmic trays inside the Exploring Space gallery, one of the museum’s most popular attractions. As guests made their way to the next gallery, they were met with an incredible setup of tables garbed in dark sky linen and shiny silver reminiscent of spacecraft aluminium, set against a background of an exceptional collection of space-themed objects dating from the 18th century.

Not only was the setup exceptionally presented to match the motif, but the menu was equally stellar, too. The three-course dinner began with Rocket’s summer salad with poached Norfolk quails’ eggs followed by a fillet of Aberdeen Angus with braised ox cheek, potato, watercress and nasturtium purée. The dinner concluded with a seasonal summer macaron made with berry compôte, fresh fruit, and whipped white chocolate ganache.
