A Fabulous Fundraiser Gala at Roundhouse

Rocket brought to life a phenomenal black-tie fundraiser gala hosted by international charity DKMS set at London’s Roundhouse. It was an inspiring evening that brought together donors and patients in one room for the first time—a remarkable gathering to raise funds against blood cancer.

To kick off the gala, Rocket served a selection of canapés including tuna tataki on a seaweed cracker, sea bass tacos, and Moroccan-spiced lamb confit alongside glasses of champagne at the first-floor bar overlooking the majestic dinner area. Working together with the talented florist Amelia Cornish, Rocket styled each table with a variety of elegant centrepieces made of antique gold candelabras, floral bouquets and black and gold bud vases set against pristine white cloth.

Dinner

In true Rocket fashion, the menu for 600 guests focused on the finest British ingredients, including a starter of fresh tomato and smoked cod’s roe tart followed by a roast sirloin of Aberdeen Angus and a vegan broad bean cannelloni for vegetarians.

The night concluded with a decadent chocolate and passion fruit opera cake with salted caramel ice cream to accompany a memorable performance by musical icon Boy George. A real treat for the guests and the perfect finale to this spectacular evening.
